Here are some Q&A’s answered for you to help make your decision easier!

1. DO YOU USE PROFESSIONAL GEAR?

We use top of the line Apple computers, pro mixers, QSC K12 speakers, and the kind of gear you find in state of the art nightclubs.  In other words, absolutely!

2. WILL YOU PROVIDE AN EMERGENCY BACK-UP SYSTEM AT OUR EVENT?

Weddings, Mitzvahs and special events are often once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. A back-up system protects your investment. We have backup computers, hard drives, ipods, PAs and more. Our systems are all state of the art starting with expensive macbooks, specialized hard drives, and redundant backup systems in place to prepare for anything!

3. ARE WE GUARANTEED THE DJ OF OUR CHOICE ON THE DAY OF OUR EVENT?

A written contract with your specific entertainer guarantees you will have no surprises on the day of your event. It is a good idea to put an initial payment down as soon as you find the person you prefer. Reputable DJ’s will often be booked a year or more in advance on “peak” days.

Fort Wayne Party puts everything in writing and also offers you the opportunity to meet your entertainer before making a decision.

4. HOW MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE?

Experience brings knowledge of common problems and situations. Be sure your DJ has experience with your type of event. All of our DJ’s have over 10 years experience DJing the hottest nightclubs, events, including opening up for national entertainers. Oh yeah and we have done hundreds of weddings!

5. HOW WILL YOU BE DRESSED?

Proper attire reflects a positive image to your guests. At a bare minimum we will have a professional attire look of a shirt and tie and can upscale to a tux or whatever your event calls for.

6. HOW EARLY WILL YOU BE TO OUR SITE TO SET UP?

An average of 2 hours should be allowed for set up and sound check. Our setup and tear down time is not part of the time we have contracted. This is free of charge as we prefer to arrive early so music can begin as soon as the first guest enters your party. Early arrival also allows us to perform a sound check and prepare for your special day.

7. WILL YOU ALLOW REQUESTS?

Requests should be welcome. If a song seems inappropriate, a good DJ will explain the reason and ask for an alternative selection.

Fort Wayne Party has a reputation for filling as many requests as possible, including your favorite selections. Our Music database includes over 50,000 tracks. We do buy all the lastest hits so if it is danceable top 40, we probably have it. If not, we’re happy to buy it for your special day.

8. WHAT UNIQUE ENTERTAINMENT OFFERINGS DO YOU PROVIDE?

We can provide personalized introductions, a narrated love story audio track or video, unique dances, games, party supplies/favors, and much more! If you have an idea we can probably make it happen!

9. WHAT DOES IT COST?  HOW MUCH?

While Fort Wayne Party is by far one of the most affordable entertainment companies in our class, our prices reflects not only our commitment to our profession, but our commitment to you, the event, the location, and our goal of perfection. We find that many brides are ok with spending more money on food, drinks, even a photographer, but when it comes to the entertainment, the budget is not available.
